The one that has a special place in my makeup filled heart, and the first high-end highlighter I ever purchased, is the Laura Geller Baked Gelato Swirl Illuminator in Gilded Honey.

If I were stranded on a desert island and I could only take 6 highlighters, (because that is crucial to survival) I would take these gems! These are the ones that I have been obsessed with! New or old, high-end, or drugstore! There’s a highlighter out there for everyone! I happen to have 6!

An instagram classic! No collection is complete without this one. This beautiful golden shade goes with many skin tones! You can also make it as natural or as blinding as your little heart desires. There are 3 other shades in this collection that are equally as beautiful, but Gilded Honey is the crowd fave!

For my drugstore makeup lovers, this next one is a recent discovery thanks to Kathleen Lights! If you guessed Wet n Wild, you guessed right! This glistening champagne shade is ah-maze-ing! It is an intense shine without the chunky glitter. Coming in at $4.99, the Wet n Wild Megaglo Highlighting Powder in Precious Petals is a must-have if you’re on a budget! There are a total of 6 shades in this collection that range from pale pink to a stunning lilac. These can be found on the Wet n Wild website or your local drugstore.

Staying on the drugstore makeup train, this next one is a great alternative for the Laura Geller Gilded Honey highlight. The Maybelline Face Studio Master Chrome Metallic Highlighter in Molten Gold. This shade is very similar to Gilded Honey, definitely not a dupe. Out of all my highlighters this one is the one that I reach for most! It just sits there, looking stunning and I give in every time! This Master Chrome highlighter sells for $8.99.

Okay so, this next one is for my ladies that love to shine brighter than the sun! Artist Couture is a makeup brand created by Celebrity Makeup Artist Angel Merino, also known as Mac Daddyy. The Artist Couture Diamond Glow Powders are one of a kind! It is a loose powder formula, with super silky smooth texture, and intense color payoff! Some say there are crushed diamonds in this highlight, wonder what would make them think that?  There are 12 different shades, but Illuminati is my personal fave!

This would not be a proper Highlighter Must-Haves list if there wasn’t a Becca Cosmetics highlighter thrown in. Am I right?! The Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed Highlighters are the best of the best! They have super soft, silky, almost creamy formula, with stunning shades! Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you know that Jaclyn Hill, YouTube beauty influencer, and Becca Cosmetics, had a baby named Champagne Pop! It’s a beautiful shade that has taken the highlight world by storm! So much, that people seem to not know, or forget that Champagne Pop has a sister named Prosecco Pop! This pale gold shade is my absolute fave, and a definite must-have!

Nicole Guerriero is one of my favorite YouTube beauty influencers. Earlier this year she partnered with Anastasia Beverly Hills to release a stunning 6 pan highlighter palette. And when I say stunning, I mean STUNNING! This palette has every shade I could possibly need! It has neutral everyday colors, and out of the box more unique colors for when you’re feeling adventurous. It is great for makeup artists as well as makeup enthusiasts. Once I saw it I knew I had to have it, especially since it was a limited edition item. This being the reason I decided to give this product a shout out! It is a definite staple in my collection!
